Growing up, the minute school was out, my parents would load my sister and I, all of our favorite things and of course the dog into the VW Bug to drive the 5 hour drive to our cabin. Packed to near combustion the drive that was nearly unbearable. The only way that Sister and I knew that the torture was near complete is we would turn onto a dirt road. The bumpy road. When this yarn came in and I was looking for a trip I could name it after, Bumpy Road seemed perfect.
